Saturday, November 23, 2024
If you ever got the dreaded "500 Internal Server Error" when you try to run a script from your web site, it's possible you don't have the proper modules installed for that script. Now you can find out what's installed in just seconds.
Installation:Module Checker automatically installs on your web site in seconds
Or, follow the below instructions to install manually.
- Upload module_checker.cgi to your cgi-bin directory in ASCII format
- CHMOD module_checker.cgi to 755
Example:
When you run the Module Checker, you can specify which modules you want it to search for. Below is an example of what you will see when it runs:
Socket Version: 1.72
CGI Version: 2.752
Net::DNS Version: 0.34
Net::FTP Version: 2.67
Net::HTTP is not installed
Net::SSL Version: 2.77
Net::SSLeay Version: 1.21
Net::SMTP Version: 2.25

You can bet I'll be recommending CGIconnection to everyone on my list as well
as all my personal friends who use scripts of any kind.
